Whilst there is a link on that RBF section between the Station and RBF forecast, in some cases, the RBF forecast for the section of road on which an RWIS station is located is different to the station forecast at that point. It is possible that the RBF section can be slightly cooler in the section than the station as physical characteristics (shadow) may be greater than the road sensor specific location.
As a more general note, the RBF section should not be warmer than the RWIS station – if it is, and it’s a consistent problem, then it might be that the station hasn’t yet been linked to the RBF (most likely reason if the station is new), or it may have been linked, but not correctly.
